Heritage & Learning Centre, Leicester Cathedral
MCS Interiors played a pivotal role in the recent extension of Leicester Cathedral, a project funded by the National Lottery, aimed at creating a new Heritage and Learning Centre. MCS Interiors was tasked with providing partitioning works throughout the new building however the standout feature of the project was the installation of Rigitone ceilings.
These high-quality acoustic boards were selected for their aesthetic appeal and excellent sound absorption properties. The visually seamless ceilings, paired with striking edge detailing completed by MCS, create a refined and contemporary finish that enhances the overall atmosphere of the centre as well as providing superior sound absorption.
