MCS Interiors have recently been involved in the construction of 15 new commercial units in Daventry by subdivision of larger units through the erection of double-layered partition walls extending up to 8.45m high.
Boards were taped and filled to a flush finish ready for decoration. Walls were 60-minute fire rated, extending to approximately 2,000m2 across the project.
Office and toilet walls added a further 300m2, extending up to 3.3m in height. In addition, MCS installed 600mm x 600mm Sektor Sahara suspended ceiling tiles to all offices and toilet areas (approximately 224m2) with a 60-minute fire rating.
As well as being fire rated, this ceiling tile offers enhanced light reflectance and sound absorption making it ideal of commercial spaces.
