MCS Interiors’ office partition wall project, AF Blackmore, Spar Distribution Centre.
With the mindset that there’s no job too small, MCS Interiors were appointed to install a new partition wall to divide one large office into two smaller spaces in a modern distribution centre. Office partitions are a practical way to create functional spaces and come with the option to integrate specified acoustic, fire, glazing and aesthetic requirements if necessary.
Works consisted of removing a section of ceiling to install the new stud partition, which was then taped and filled to create a flush finish. The ceiling was re-instated upon completion of the work and 50mm intumescent fire batt installed beneath the wall to provide a 60-minute fire rated barrier.
