How the refurbishment team at MCS Interiors helped to transform Yaxley Surgery.
In 2020, Lakeside Healthcare received permission to refurbish and extend their healthcare centre in Yaxley. During this time, the team at MCS Interiors have been involved in various aspects of the project, helping to create additional treatment rooms, a new lobby and extended waiting area for patients.
The most recent phase of the project consisted of a new extension. MCS Interiors over-boarded the roof joists with ThermoLite boards, a versatile product which is lightweight yet durable and offers superior insulating properties which will ultimately lead to lower energy bills. Temperature control and water-resistance are also additional benefits of this over-boarding solution.
The walls of the building were fabricated using wall-board, which our team skimmed to a create a smooth finish ready for renovation and decoration. Overall, the refurbishment of Yaxley surgery has improved its interior, offering a more inviting and modern space to those using the facilities.
